Hi guys,
Last one week was busy! Had little time to update the blog. For those who are newer, we were unable to meet last week due to a packed schedule, so I'll be arranging with you guys again! You should have received the sms by now, asking for which evenings you'll be free this week. I'll get back to you all soon.
Aside from that, most of you should know that things are more or less picking up.
FX is working on his VBS vid,
Xin Jie,
Jing Fen and
Dale are each working on a Zone F Hero Vid each and
Jeremy Chan is working on a Heart Awards/CREATE promo vid.
Wei Tze just finished his Youth Camp Vid which, surprise surprise, is only his second attempt! Round of applause!! Praise has not yet died down for
JingFen's WeMambo Challenge promo vid, which
Pastor Lia has just praised!! What alot of
BOLD letters are being used! It is a sign that many good things are taking place..
And don't expect things to die down yet, because here come the updates!!
1) The Heart Awards Videos have come out! Take note of the confirmed awards:
-Youth of the Year which, by the way, is the grandest of all the awards
-Team of the Year
-Team Leader of the Year(Leaders leaders leaders in the house of God!!!)
-One mystery award!!(I have yet to decide what to do with this one...)
...And these are the awards which will PROBABLY come out
-Babe of the Year
-Evangelist of the Year
-Courage Award (The song has been decided by Pastors! It is "I Will Survive"
For those of you who already have ideas for the above mentioned videos, you may approach me and confirm with me, and you may begin! Think back to that day where we were talking about our ideas...
1a) Furthermore, for those of you who have just joined this ministry, there is a special task at hand for you.. You guys will be working on the CREATE videos!! As in, the sky's the limit. Remember the things we talked about that day! All those ideas... Likewise, you may approach me, confirm with me, and begin work!
2) In retrospect, I feel that our focus has to change to flow more with Pastors. As such, I would like to place less emphasis on the Heart Awards and Create(though we have all been really excited about it!) and give our
Christmas Big Days more attention!! I feel we have to be more concerned and excited for salvations! Ultimately, our Heart Awards is only for our people. The real harvest comes with Christmas. As such, take note of the videos that will have to be done!

-Christmas salvation vid
These will have to be absolutely top notch.. The Heart of God family must see the promo video and be absolutely convicted to bring every single person in Singapore to church.. They will catch the Heart of God towards the lost. People must see the salvation video and feel the presence of God. They must begin to cry and be touched by the love of Jesus..We have to contribute as much as we can to these two major days so that we can see more people saved and coming to know Jesus. Got it? I'm particularly excited for Christmas. So, if you really want to stretch your videomaking skills and you have an absolutely powerful idea you think is the right one for that day, APPROACH ME!!! I am really hoping that people will step forward for this!
3) Also, Pastors would like to put together a
Salvation CD that will be very much like our "Greatest Miracle" booklets that we hand out after every service. Except that this time, it will be something like a combined CD that will help new believers to understand their decision, and will also contain Praise and Worship songs so they can do their own QT at home. Cool right! Haha. I will be arranging this one, but I would also like to involve the Live Feed crew members, because you have greater training and knowhow in operating our new professional HD Video Cameras. So, Live Feed guys and gals, this is just for your foreknowledge!
4) There will be a Video done for
Destiny International, our Heart of God church International Humanitarian Aid. This will be an excellent opportunity for training, so I will be allowing some of the younger people to handle this!
5) Lastly, we will be getting new Macs!! Two is just too little for everyone to share, so there will be a third. However... With great power comes great cleanliness, accountability and otherwise responsibilities!! I will be placing into motion several new systems which will encourage everyone to take ownership or our stuff in church. They will include cleanliness of the room, an ordered manner of archiving our productions, and a booking sheet for the use of the Macs. We, as the post-production team, need to have a greater sense of neatness than others, particularly since the space is prone to being messy!

P.S By the way, yes, we are in the ninth week before Heart Awards, which is also the eight week before Christmas. All those who are currently working on projects, hurry! Your speed determines how we end up at the end of the year!
